چکیده
Multiple-herbicide-resistant (MHR) Canada fleabane [Conyza canadensis (L.) Cronq.] control has become a major concern for corn producers in Ontario. Postemergence (POST) herbicides are critical the of emerged MHR corn. A study that consisted five field experiments was conducted southwestern Ontario fields with confirmed to evaluate various herbicide mixtures applied POST Glyphosate + 2,4-D amine, glyphosate/2,4-D choline, glyphosate clopyralid, S-metolachlor/mesotrione/bicyclopyrone, tolpyralate atrazine, dicamba, dicamba/atrazine, S-metolachlor/mesotrione/ mesotrione bromoxynil S-metolachlor/ mesotrione/bicyclopyrone/atrazine, glyphosate/S-metolachlor/mesotrione glyphosate/dicamba tembotrione, tembotrione bromoxynil, and atrazine provided 63-99% control, 77-100% density reduction, 88-100% shoot biomass reduction interference reduced yield up 58%; all treatments resulted similar weed-free control. Results this indicate among evaluated most consistent

calcium oxalate crystals in Conyza canadensis (l.) cronq. and Conyza bonariensis (l.) cronq. (Asteraceae: Astereae)
Calcium oxalate crystals (CaOx) are found in most organs and tissues of many plant species. In this study the morphology and distribution of CaOx crystals in Conyza canadensis (L.) Cronq. and Conyza bonariensis (L.) Cronq. belonging to Asteraceae were investigated. CaOx crystals display a similar distribution in organs and tissues of C. canadensis and C. bonariensis. For the identification of C...

The extended use of glyphosate resulted to its reduced efficacy against increasingly problematic weeds, such as Conyza spp. The objectives of this study were to determine the occurrence of glyphosate resistance in horseweed (C. canadensis) and fleabane (C. albida) populations in Greece, to evaluate the effect of weed growth stage on glyphosate efficacy under controlled environmental condit...
متن کاملShikimate accumulates in both glyphosate-sensitive and glyphosate-resistant horseweed (Conyza canadensis L. Cronq.).
Horseweed (Conyza canadensis) is a cosmopolitan weed that commonly grows throughout North America. Horseweed that is not completely controlled by normal applications of glyphosate has been reported in western Tennessee. This research had three objectives: (1) to develop and validate an analytical procedure for the quantitative determination of shikimate, an important indicator of glyphosate act...
متن کاملParaquat resistance of weeds--the case of Conyza canadensis (L.) Cronq.
The paper gives an overview of literature on paraquat resistance of weeds and the proposed mechanism of resistance. New results we achieved on horseweed (Conyza canadensis /L./, Cronq.) are discussed in detail. It was demonstrated that there is no significant constitutive difference related to the paraquat resistance between untreated susceptible and paraquat-resistant horseweed plants. The low...
متن کاملControl of Herbicide-resistant Volunteer Corn in Herbicide-resistant Soybean
Glyphosate-resistant corn and soybean are grown in rotations in the Midwest, including Nebraska. Volunteer corn is a problematic weed in soybean fields because it causes harvest problems, reduces yield and seed quality, and potentially harbors insects, pests, and diseases. Several pre-packaged herbicides have been registered in soybean in recent years, but response of volunteer corn to these he...
